My skin tag removal procedure
My appointment was at 1030 am that day. We start by taking pictures with the doctor in charge. Haha. Here is Dr Kee Yong Seng who was to perform the procedure to me that day. Dr Kee Yong Seng have his own blog which you can follow here.

Me and Dr Kee Yong Seng consultation session. Me being busy telling him my skin problems. I was recommended to do the Electrocautery method to get rid of the skin tags. As I’m not pregnant, it was advisable to use this method for faster healing. The other method would be Fractional CO2 Laser but with a longer downtime.

Okay, here we go. Lets view a close up of my face with all those nasty skin tags. Side view.
Aaannd here is the front view. Do excuse my tudung senget. Hahaha.
First, the procedure starts by taking off my hijab and placing all my items in a customer special bag which are provided inside the room.
Then I lay on the bed, which after, the assistant for Dr Kee Yong Seng, Nurse Hawa cleanse my face to ensure my face is clean from makeup residues, face powder and dust.
And then she applied numbing cream on my face to make it numb to ensure a comfortable procedure.
The electrocautery machine. The metal plate on top were then placed behind my back under my clothes. The plate is were placed to ensure the current will flow later during the procedure.

After 15 minutes, my face is numb enough and Dr Kee Yong Seng came in and starts the procedure. Oh, before the procedure, I got to wear a metal goggle to protect my eyes.

The electrocautery are actually very common during surgery to prevent wound infection and cleaning wound sites. There is no pain at all, only a slight pinch sensation.

In overall, I have around 30 lesions. See that vacuum? While being cauterized, there is a slight smell of burning so the vacuum is there to get rid of the smell.

The reddish area are parts where the skin tags have been cauterized. Goodbye skin tags!

And afterwards, Hawa clean off my face and then I was put under LED Phototherapy machine for a 15 minutes light therapy. This light therapy is for faster healing process and skin rejuvenation.

And after, my face was applied with moisturizer and sunblock. It was advisable to apply skin blocks 2 times a day to ensure the skin tags won’t come back and actually, it was advisable for everyone to apply sunblock everyday. A spf 50 is good enough. I got an antibiotic cream to prevent infected on the wounds to be applied 2 times a day after shower.

On another note by the doc, I need to apply moisturizer at night, sunblock during the day. No scratching, no scrubbing, no toner or acidic stuffs on my face for 2 weeks to ensure smooth healing process.

There is a slight pain like ant bites afterwards, but I still went on and go shopping. Haha. I wasn’t noticeable at all. And on the day after, there was no pain at all, but there are scabs where the skin tags is in the process of healing. After a week, new skin have grow on the place where the skin tags was. My skin is actually much smoother for I don’t have anymore skin tags! Yeayyyyy!
2 weeks after the treatment, here is my latest skin conditions.

On the sides. There are some scar left but that will fade on soon.

And from the front.

Do ignore my huge pores and blackhead. I need to get rid of them next. For now, I am very satisfied, for I don’t have bumpy skin tags on my face anymore! Yeahhhh! I can now take pictures without using Beautify or beauty mode. Hahah. Alhamdulillah.. I am a very satisfied customer.

You usually only need 1 session to remove most skin tags. Some skin tags may need 2 or 3 treatment sessions, spaced 1 month apart.

The charge starts from RM100 for each skin tag. Rm100 is applicable for skin tag that is smaller than 3mm. As for skin tag that is larger than 3mm, they will charge RM300 each. For full face, neck area, or on chest area the charge is RM2500 per area. Premier Clinic also offer 6, 12 and 24 months instalment easy payment scheme for most Malaysian credit cards.

Overall, I am a very satisfied customer. I have recommended this method to everyone that asked what product did I use for my face. The results are really noticeable for I have a smooth clean face that fast in just a week. No magic products people, just go to Premier Clinic for an aesthetic fix on your skin.
